I designed my first mixer in 1971. Crude by todays standard – pair of BC184s with shunt feedback for microphone and guitar preamps, all into a single stereo bus.
Since then designed quite a few more. Had an interview with Rupert Neve himself in Melbourn, Cambs in 1986 but we couldn’t agree on salary. Later on had a period as R&D director at Soundcraft.
Currently in early planning stages of a low cost modular digital mixer.
