This value of 10^14 is only for the latest die shrinking of course, these values went up.
But the values have always been much higher than for example EEPROM values.

Yes, Steve remarks are very useful and very often overseen by designers.
But some documented modules are already working so this is at least for some gadgets a task that could be solved - maybe with some additional gates that deliver a delay time to reach some nanosecond for stable address latching in the FRAMs.
