[sdiy] Trades?

It feels like to me that the point of the "pushback" is to not clog this
list with a lot of noise (extra messages) from people just selling /
trading stuff. At some point, the list would suffer and people would just
stop reading / responding to it. I am new here (referred by the great
Emilie Gillet a few months ago). I have nothing to do with the building of
the community or the list and I would never want to intrude on any
"unspoken rules". I appreciate having a slower paced method of asking
questions and getting real answers from people that know so much more than
I do. I remember someone mentioning an archive website recently. Is there a
place with posted rules / guidelines? If not, maybe there could be a
monthly reminder email that gets sent out to just restate the ground rules.
