[sdiy] Circuit Simulators

I use icircuit
Very nice and easy program to use, real time simulation. Helps a lot at understanding
But.. very basic , only theoretical parts, no audio out, a big simulation will take your computer down as it’s very ressource hungry.
However I find that for basic simulations with op amps etc… it’s so easy to use that it’s the best software you can get
All the other software I tried (Mac LTspice , TINA) gets on my nerves , like adding an op amp takes 5 minutes instead of 5 seconds.
For rapid tests and ideas ICircuit gets the job done in a few seconds and a 5 years old would be able to play with it, I find that fantastic
What I’m really waiting for is for Eagle to have simulation implemented with good libraries. That would be absolutely game changing. Only one software for everything.
Regards
Raphael

Then a few F keys you need to remember to switch between editing modes (move, clone, cut, create net label, draw connections - which is probably the funniest part: no auto re-adjustment of connections to look neat if you move parts).

> These input wave files do not have to be audio. You can "abuse" them to be any voltage levels and their alterations as you please, to create more complex voltage level patterns than the LTspice native voltage sources otherwise would, to test stuff.
