[sdiy] Star Instruments Synare 3 pot tapers?

Here's a doc I found on the web that shows how to add one or two resistors
to a linear pot to achieve something close to the various tapers shown:

Those look like 1M pots with C and D tapers.  You can google around for the
info, here's a handy chart:

C is reverse-log, typical for EQ circuits, while D is a more extreme audio
log taper.
