Nice :) The newer style of analog drums has its charms, to be sure,
but I think it's a bit of a bummer that nobody seems to have cloned
the older stuff...

Looking back at the schematic, I think I may have been slightly
off-track about the cymbal/maraca circuit - to my very inexpert eye,
it looks like there might be two separate one-shot decay envelopes
that are summed into the same "noise gate" (VCA?) Curious to see what
I find when I finally have a chance to try this thing out.
