[sdiy] Chroma not booting (was: Repairability of modern analog synths)

Talking about Chromas - I just turned on my Chroma the other day, and
all I got was repetitive beats from the tapper, and a bass drone.

Is this a familiar Chroma fault, e.g. bad PSU?

I haven't found the time to look at it in depth, I guess the first thing
would be to check the supply voltages.
