[sdiy] Designing front panels for synths

interface design is my favourite aspect of synth diy. i believe things
become more than the sum of their parts if well designed, and something all
of a sudden just "clicks". a lot of it comes down to deciding which
features to omit. feature creatures are the most uninspiring designs IMO.
here is the first fully fledged synthesizer I built, a one-off semimodular.
if i planned to build something like this today it would be radically
different.
