I thought it was just me.  I was kicking myself when I realised I'd soldered the thoroughly buried series resistors for the headphone outputs on my VS1680 "opposite ways round", but by that point I figured no-one would ever see them again once all 427 screws were back in.

Some of them are really horrible.

What I'm looking for is some basic hints on making panels look balanced and proportionate.
