I believe this was missed in the discussion as a viable source for starting points.
National Semiconductor Data books, Motorola Data books, TI, Data books were were I began when I started working at Oberheim, later E-Mu Systems and PPG over in Hamburg.
The app notes and Data Sheets were chock full of good examples. Several other data books were great but they elude my memory.
The schematics for ARP, Moog, Oberheim, Sequential circuits were a fast track as well.
I still have many of the Service Manuals for many of these products and now I am back designing with Vacumn Tubes again.
If anyone in the Los Angeles area wishes to come by and look at what I have left, I would be happy to sell off much of the hard copy.
Best regards,
Terry
