[sdiy] Capacitor type matters in 74HCxx one-shot circuit ?

Going to start out by saying this is not as precision circuit and if you
need concise timing there might be better circuits to look at or make Rt
a fixed resistor and a good low drift trim pot. In one of my electronic
classes we were told don't use one shots unless we had too.
That being said the type of capacitor will depend on the timing needed.
Long periods may require electrolytics, can't comment on those. But for
short periods I'd use C0G or NP0 5% or better tolerance. Make sure the
gate chip is one that has hysteresis too.
