[sdiy] Yamaha CS-60 issues

I did replace those gates, and all the other CMOS on the KBC board. Having compared it to my friend's cs80 I guess this middle octave being unresponsive to the brillance keyboard control sliders is the way it is supposed to be.
The Kenton retrofit does not replace either the KAS or KBC. It works in conjunction with the Yamaha chips. If any of those die you still have a dead beast until you can source a ridiculously priced replacement chip!CheersAl

I don't know the Kenton MIDI retrofits. Do they replace the KBC too or 
only the KAC?
