Actually Gordon, it was while seeing comments here about a pink-noise processes, that I saw that too many commenters were misusing the sampling terminology and misunderstanding the corresponding theory, and that my massive 50-page tutorial (20 years old) on sampling might efficiently and comprehensively serve to help educate an audience of mainly analog types.  Logical enough?

The landmarked newsletter (EN#200) happened to lead with a discussion of a possible EN-CD, also 20 years old. That’s been widely reprinted (in part) many times and even recently on this site (or on MW?).  I assume most readers easily figured out correctly the reason for the referenced (sampling) material at this time, were not confused or annoyed, and will get around to perusing it.
