I guess since it's your baby you get a pass on that one...
Regarding your missing rare book, I had a bloody great row with a parcel company that delivered a fortunately not at all rare book to my house - and left it in the bloody recycling bin.
As I read the article on sampling theory I can feel bits of high school calculus slowly emerging as the cathodes of dusty neurons warm up and begin to glow. Some more of that and I might understand most of it!
