Just a comment on what can be converted:

We can handle the original JSON-Export which you could create on the 
Yahoo-Website, when it still existed. This is quite easy, becaus it 
provides the messages in text format with a uniform characterset and 
encoding.

We can not convert any other format like /var/mail/* file, or other 
original mail files, where each mail is in a different characterset and 
or encoding. So please do not send those other formats to Ben.


And to make clear: it is no longer possible to backup the yahoo groups. 
This chance is over since  Dec. 14th 2019.
