If you don't want to do the formatting for CreateSpace on your own you can hire other people to do this job.

So you can concentrate on the work you really love...

I've used Lulu.  They're a little on the pricy side, but the physical quality of the product is good.  Last time I looked at Amazon's service (which I think is called CreateSpace), their requirements regarding page numbering, strangely enough, were dealbreaking for the particular project I was working on at the time.  I didn't look further, but had the impression they might be worth considering for some other project.
