Ah, I see - the Abby Finereader. That’s a real nice software. I got it with my Fujitsu SnapScan S500 scanner (https://www.amazon.com/Fujitsu-ScanSnap-18PPM-36IPM-Scanner/dp/B000F3YSQ4 ) and it works like a charm!
It can place OCRed text behind the scanned graphics so that you can also search in the text!
You can tell the scan software that you want to OCR the scanned PDF in the background so that it doesn't stop you from scanning...
Really cool!
I scanned lots of my design sheets and also books that I took apart for scanning and then they went into the waste bin...
I need more space...
