Yes, actually, now that you mention it, it was from Self's book that I got
the tilt circuit I used.
I was confused because I have used quite a few Rod Elliott circuits in

There's also a bit in Doug Self's Small Signal book - pages 269-271
Very slightly different circuit-wise - he also terms it 'tone-balance'
