Hi AH & SDIY,

Obviously, doing this mod cancels your warranty.

The purpose of this mod is to prevent the amplifier stage from going to sleep after
6 seconds. Without it there is a lag of something like 100ms delay before the
amplifier is ready to play. This means that the beginning of a sounds is chopped
off when using the Frekvens as a synth or drum machine amplifier.

With this mod, the amp never sleeps and is always ready to play. There is no
interference with charging, the major power save function (20 minutes?) or
anything else.

The toggle switch is needed so that the amp stage can be manually turned off. This
prevents a loud 'pop' on power on and draining of the battery while idle.

The Frekvens design is such that it is "always a little bit on" hence the need
for the toggle.

Anyhow, this works for me, hope it works for you.

pocket synth, pocket amplifier needs.
