[sdiy] XLR to 1/4 inch

I'd go with the what the other folks said.  DI into a proper balanced
input.  Otherwise, yeah, DI to a special cable.  You'll take pin 1 of the
XLR to Sleeve, and pin 2 of the XLR to Tip.  Leave pin 3 floating (no
connection).
