[sdiy] XLR to 1/4 inch

Without wanting to hijack..
I've just got a 2nd Soundcraft signature 12 mtk - had one already for 
home - perfectly reasonable mid size desk (can be rack mounted) with 
built in multitrack USB interface which is a very convenient & useful 
feature.
I'd previously tried the A&H Zed series and, while I like the desks, 
those only had stereo USB recording built in.
