You can't route at 30 or 22.5 degree increments while keeping the corners
on the points of a square grid, so it'd be significantly harder to control
in the usual CAD interface.  The choices are basically 45, 90, allowing
angles that are not rational fractions of the circle, or allowing the X/Y
coordinates to become irrational.
