The PCB is designed to run under different supply conditions: +12 
eurorack, +5V eurorack, +8 - +12V wallwart, maybe even batteries. That 
is why I don't have a defined "high power"-supply for the backlight, and 
why I have to use the +5V which is the same for all kinds of supply.
