[sdiy] Programming Language Recommendation

I've heard the cargo package manager and Rust are pretty good for embedded
systems, I have no experience with it myself but I definitely like the
compile time guarantees the language offers, and it has c-like enough
syntax that makes it pretty much the same when it comes to the core
algorithm implementations.
There was a talk on it at this year's Audio Developer Conference which I
gave a presentation at, which was compelling enough to warrant giving it a
go.
