My scope (Voltcraft DSO-1062D) has a funny quirk. When a one-off event is recorded, i. e. normal trigger mode, no continuous retriggering, it doesn’t immediately react on turning the horizontal position knob. It does however record that knob somehow internally, when changing the timebase the new setting of the horizontal position knob comes into effect. Hope I explained this well.
This is very annoying. It does however not happen in single sequence mode. Here the picture on the screen followl the horizontal position knob smoothly.

Seems like a bug in the firmware to me…
