My tpw…
I have a Siglent SDS1204-E with logic pod on my desk, which is a heck of a lot of scope but it comes at a price tag, but a tag that was worth paying given it is a work horse for my day job. I also have an old Hitachi V1050F that I have had since my older teens that I have to pull apart occasionally to fix (currently the trigger selector is in need of cleaning I suspect). Prior to that I had use of a Tek and Hitachi. The Hitachi’s have a couple of trigger modes that I found worked well for audio work and I like having an all analog scope around. That said, where the older digital scopes use to fail me with the poor triggering I have pleasantly surprised a this Siglents triggering across multiple channels. Where the older digital would miss glitches or nuances that the Hitachi would catch, this Siglent has been up to the task.

A colleague of mine found the Siglent SDS1104X-E 100MHz four-channel oscilloscope interesting (in the 500ish price range), and it would be nice to hear if people say yay or nay before we order a couple of them - and before this is seen as some kind of recommendation.
