[sdiy] Best scopes for the money, 2020?

I have a 1054Z and I'm quite happy with it.

However, I did have someone giving me some static at one point saying that
there are "well known" bugs in the interface, it doesn't do math right,
etc.  Now, I haven't had any occasion to worry about any of those things,
but I figure it's worth mentioning, so someone who might care can check it
out before putting down any cash.
