I do not agree. Not all image hosting services retain images forever. imgur.com <http://imgur.com/> used to retain images only if they were accessed at least once every few months. That has changed a few years ago and they are now retained indefinite. But it might change again and you could loose all that information. We’d have no control over it.
So just include the image in the email and it will be added to the list archive automatically. (https://synth-diy.org/pipermail/synth-diy/ <https://synth-diy.org/pipermail/synth-diy/>) If there are problems with the list not accepting an image, just let me know and I’ll fix it. (I usually get an email if a message gets held up anyway.)
