That EN76 article is great.
I particularly like the comparison between binary-weighted resistors for uniform distribution versus equal resistors for gaussian distribution. I wrote an application to graph and explore the transfer function of different bit weightings, but I didn’t think to look at distribution (probably because I wasn’t dealing with random inputs and outputs).
