I'm not sure if any of them are LFSR, but electric druid has a number of
different noise chips:

I also spent some time trying to build a DIP footprint equivalent to the
4006, using SMD 4015's and a couple other chips, but had trouble with it
and have shelved it for quite some time now. Eventually I'll get back to
it. :)
