Common misconception. Anything that is frequency-selective, like the
filters needed to split the channels in an FM receiver, necessarily has a
group delay resulting in "latency." Using analog techniques to do it
doesn't magically allow you to break the laws of information theory; and
although you can reduce the group delay to be small enough not to be a
problem, the same can be said of digital and you can never reduce it to
