Yes, that re-assembly story is a familiar one, and worth repeating.
Learning as time goes on to leave well enough alone - probably why I am
not, as yet, not a big fan of "upgrading" I.e. electrolytics, faster,
lower noise etc. or modern substitutes.)
Sounds like another one to add to my new year's 'resolution' (pun
intended.)
