Yes, I have an idea. Use linearized 2164 to make your multipliers for the frequency shifter. I have a nifty little design I could send you which doesn't require any trimming, and gives very accurate balanced multiplication with a minimum of parts and fuss.

looking for AD633 to a reasonable price. Ordered a few in
China/ALI-Express in SOP-8 for 3€ each. Same as others I tested last
year; don't work and drive hot after a few seconds. My test circuit is
fine and works with AD633 bought for 10€ each. Need it for my
Frequency-Shifter.
Any idea?
