[sdiy] Standard markings for modular I/O & CV versus Audio?

How about black for inputs, red for bipolar outputs, green for unipolar
outputs, for example. Then you know if you LFO is going to cross zero or
not.
Trouble is you get an existential crisis when you have a jack that can be
either input or an output, like on a passive banana to 1/4" connector, for
example.
