[sdiy] History of SDIY?

I’ve asked very software-related questions on here from time to time. One time I remember I was struggling with C header files, for example. That’s only very elliptically an SDIY topic, but I think I was writing some voice assignment code (so actually very synthy).
I used to ask quite a lot of PIC or dsPIC related questions too, but I mostly know what I’m doing with those these days. Still might have to ask about C though!
