[sdiy] History of SDIY?

Sometimes R&D is paid for by the initial visionary/investor, a single
person, same as SDIY... The intent I think is more significant. Are you
doing it with intent to become a company and sell products? R&D
Or are you doing it for your own personal use and enjoyment? SDIY
