Heh. I can.
- works Apple only
- prepare to get sued. Why? I don't know yet, do I really need to?
- the product doesn't work? Who cares. You may line up in front of the
store the night before our next product release.

- Want to develop for AppleMIDI? Sign up for the Developer Bullying
Program (I believe it is called...), and prepare yourself for regularly
jumping throuth firey hoops, because we, Apple, are so great that we can
make you do it, and you'll even thank us for it.
*fast forward 20 years*
Siri2: "I am sorry, but your physical *nal probe is no longer
functioning and we can't verify your worthiness of developing on our
platform. The functioning of the development environment will cease
until the device has been serviced."
Apple slave: "Yes, mistress, I love to obey! It's too bad you only have
virtual boots!"

BUT: you can plug in the AppleMIDI connector at any angle you like.
Now if that's not worth it!

"Stuck" with low speed we are, would it not be easy to say "make that
10x" (at least), and change nothing else? Perhaps some smart circuit
could detect the speed and make things backwards compatible / menu
option for TX.
