[sdiy] Potential stackexchange for Synth DIY

Damn, am I getting old?
I like the list, too *g*

I do use stackoverflow and stackexchange for other things...
It's not everyone's most liked way of answering questions or getting 
them answered, though / depends on the situation.
They are strict about questions being very precise, not broad, and 
certainly nothing that would provoke those dreaded opinions as replies.
It's not for discussion, let alone chat.

Perhaps there could be value in *also* having a format like that. But 
somebody mentioned spreading thin... SDIY is quite a niche topic.
Then again, if it's more visible than a mailing list, who knows what 
happens. Especially because users of other stackexchange subforums might 
stumble upon SDIY.
(I don't know how active SDIY discussions are on sites I only know exist 
but not much more, like electromusic forums. Maybe the subject is more 
exposed than I am perceiving)
