What’s it like owning an AP?

One of my clients had a model so old that it would only work with an ancient Windows XP laptop. Perhaps that was a special application model?

I briefly used a newer model, but I was basically only using it as a glorified signal presence (well, with calibrated dB readings).

In my estimation, an AP (Audio Precision) is a must have for anyone designing audio circuits.

Are they priced affordably on the used market?
