Hi Grant,
Nothing special about my VGA scope design..
Just some Microchip PIC VGA timing signals for 800x600
with the help of some comparator circuitry.

This gives a nice waveform that can be selected
As RED,GREEN,BLUE, VIOLET,MAGENTA, WHITE or RAINBOW (alternating colors)

Would love to know what micro you picked and how helpful Microchip was
with getting you going. I want to do a small color LCD (possibly TFT)
and the only experience I have so far is old 8051 and old monochrome
graphic LCDs. TFT seems like a huge jump in memory and processing
requirements. Would hate to have to start from scratch. Microchip
advertises solid dev kits and more than one 32-bit architecture.
