[sdiy] 566 Functional Replacement

The point was that we had a switch in the past from analog to digital, and that
was accompanied by a drastic change in UI (lots of knobs -> very few knobs).
I had the DX7 in mind, and my post was meant as a joke, as we do not want to go
back to that.
Humour, always tricky in email.
