I've corrected my mistakes and can indeed see a similar increase in SNR in
a SVF, particularly in the passband and around the cutoff frequency for all
filter responses.

As a drop-in replacement the improvement is only a lower THD, but the key
to lower noise is that the SSI2164 tolerates louder signal currents than
SSM2164 & V2164, and the impedances around the VCAs can be redimensioned in
order to exploit this.
