+1 for Fluke here as well, I have a Fluke 8060 A which is practically a fossil.  I got
it new and it still works and has needed no more than occasional battery replacements. 
This particular meter does not have all the fancy cap meter and transistor checker
stuff, but it is solid like a tank.  Very reliable gear, highly recommended.
