[sdiy] STM32 (or other) audio DSP learning recommendations

I was able to bring up my F769I-discovery under macOS using just the gcc
toolchain and the open source st-link utility. I can provide the project
files if there is any interest.

 i would share in the overall disdain for eclipse as well, especially after
starting recently with SHARC where that is now the only option (with the
additional nag of windows only, really?)
