[sdiy] [OT] Soldering pins on QFP, etc

I'm one of those mental patients that actually solders individual pins
on things like TQFP-48 and MSOP-10 (0.5mm). I would like to find a
soldering iron with a nice fine tip for doing that work. I'm not a
drag-n-wick kind of guy. I do use a microscope.
Anyway, any recommendations? I don't need a mega-station, just a
soldering iron or soldering station dedicated to this (so I don't have
to switch tips for everything else). I'm happy to try any power source
except butane. I actually had some decent luck with a USB Soldering Iron
but it's really not up to the task, as far as heating quickly and if you
wipe it you have to wait a long time for it to heat back up.
