[sdiy] History of SDIY?

On my birthday last week, we celebrated the birthday of the list. I realized that I got on this list in the first year it was around. 
To me, the biggest influences, at least from this list, have been:

Grant Richter
Ian Fritz
Juergen Haible
Don Tillman
Jörgen Bergfors
Harry Bissell

Buchla was never on this list as far as I know, but he is the biggest influence on me.

Mark Verbos

(for the synth DIY map, I’ve lived in Orlando, Milwaukee, Chicago, Berlin, New York and Berlin again all while being on this list!)
