i'd guess it'd depend on how accurate want the edges to be. In some
cases i would apply sticky paste onto the surface, cover it with
bimetal film, cut that into a stencil, clean and then paint. The
metal stencil might make that easier too or even work on its own. If
you try, please tell us about the results.
