So I have just noticed that Oberheim repeatedly use a 100nF capacitor to ground from pin 14 of the CEM3340 in parallel with the scale setting resistor Rs (which is normally around 1K8). Does anyone see any advantage to having this capacitor? No other 'vintage' circuit nor the CEM3340/AS3340 datasheet show such capacitor. Tony www.oakleysound.com
