Not entirely related to this thread, but speaking of Aphex Twin and AI there’s an interesting article in this months MagPi (uk raspberry pi magazine) where he’s collaborating with a programmer and using AI to program DX7 patches using a raspberry pi.  There’s some details here:

So yeah safe to say he’s got an interest in programming!
