I also get hit with heavy brokerage fees when ordering from Digikey in
Mexico. Meanwhile Mouser has a warehouse in Guadalajara and gives free
shipment for orders over 40 usd. The import tax is added to the shopping
cart and nothing extra is charged. However their prices are often higher,
so for larger orders I try to do the math and figure out which ends up
being cheaper. Usually Mouser is still better but not always.
